Digital Art & Photogrammetry - 3D Capture Workshop with DYSPLA

  • Ordnance Unity Centre Library 645 Hertford Road Enfield, England, EN3 6ND United Kingdom (map)

Join local artists DYSPLA for a creative workshop exploring 3D technology, accessible for all levels.

Join this creative workshop as local artists DYSPLA will be showing participants how to create 3D digital art using the technologies that most people have available at home. Using some of the same technologies used to create their artworks DYSPLA will be guiding a group of residents through the process of digitally capturing 3D objects, using mobile phone cameras and freely available 3D capture software.

DYSPLA have recently launched their public artwork Workers of Tomorrow which is being shown on billboards in the Hertford Road area showcasing a fictional representation of the future of different industries set in 2099, focussing on health, education, law and creativity and considering how those industries will be impacted by the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). They hope the work will create a dialogue around the preservation of our unique humanity, whilst allowing for progress in our essential industries. More information can be found accessed on QR codes and on their website.
